Viewing towers

The first of the viewing towers is located directly over the underground exposition. There you will quickly change a level and go up 17 metres to look into birds’ widows that have their nests in the tree tops. The Gorce forest is a paradise for numerous winged dwellers. Look out for a capercaillie, black grouse or golden eagle. There are also woodpeckers and owls here. They can be next to you so keep your eyes wide open. The path will gently lead you to a higher tower. It is getting more serios here as you will have climbed 35 metres above the ground. There are wide views from here and you can see the whole area from above. A high viewing terrace is an ideal place for a souvenir photo from your visit to the Gateway to the Gorce.
